ELODIE

KLEIN

Milano, Italy

Elodie Klein’s painting practice stems from her studies in psychoanalysis and modern art. Klein initially began painting as an exercise to process and examine fleeting impressions. Klein’s work builds upon seminal abstract expressionists such as Agnes martin and Jay DeFeo and pushes for a tangible representation of elusive sensual and visual experiences. Klein’s oeuvre ultimately touches upon loss and longing in connection to the subconscious. Elodie Klein’s work is in private collections across Europe and North America.
