ANTONELLA
SACCONI
Milano, Italy
The photography of Antonella Sacconi winds through a path of observation of structures and details of contemporary worldwide architecture. Her classical training allows her to find "the ancient" in the "new", that feeds on those classical principles even where it seems to break every pattern and appear disharmonic. The author uses black and white because she wants the eye not to focus on color, but on lines and structures, stripping the buildings and leaving only the bare shapes.
